Familarisation Test Drive
Naturally, you will have a test drive before you decide upon which vehicle to drive. The chances are that by the time you collect your new car or van, that you will have driven a different vehicle or two since your initial test drive. At Gordon Lamb, we are happy to give you a familiarisation test drive so that you are completely comfortable with your new vehicle's controls, if you should so wish.
Warranty
Every vehicle sold by Gordon Lamb is sold with a comprehensive warranty. Depending on the age of the vehicle, this will either be the remaining manufacturer's warranty or, if it's an older vehicle, it will be an independently underwritten Mechanical Breakdown Insurance warranty.
Roadside Recovery*
Every vehicle sold by Gordon Lamb also gets the minimum of twelve months of roadside recovery included. Depending on the franchise, this may be with the RAC, the AA, Europe Assist or Green Flag. One thing, is for sure: Your new vehicle will have roadside recovery.
Provenance Security Checks
We check all vehicles that we offer for sale for theft, outstanding finance or total loss. These security checks give you the same peace of mind that we enjoy. A copy of these security checks will be passed to you.
Mileage checks
In addition to the security checks, we will also undertake a mileage check. Depending upon the vehicle, we may use an outside agency to achieve this, or if we sold the vehicle from new and service it, we will be able to verify this for ourselves. Again, a copy of these checks will be passed to you.
Multi-Point Safety Inspection Check
Prior to going on display all vehicles are comprehensively checked in our workshops to ensure that they are not only safe but also in good condition. Again, a copy of the check sheet will be passed to you.
Exchange Policy
If a fault occurs within 30 days of purchase that we are unable to fix then we will exchange your vehicle for one of a similar value.
Smart Repair insurance
Smart Repair insurance is available to cover small and medium paint repairs. The cover is for a full three years and covers the cost of returning your car to pristine condition in the event of accidental damage or vandalism.
Full Valet
Every car or van sold by us receives a full valet prior to display and again prior to delivery.
*Excludes certain special promotion vehicles which may include a minimum of a 6 month warranty and may exclude roadside cover. If this is the case, additional warranty cover and roadside cover can be purchased at extra cost. This will be clearly indicated within the vehicle's specification details on this website.
