Our culture is about the way we are perceived by our customers and therefore how we operate as an organisation. We believe that our team members (and our unique and bespoke processes) are who (and what) differentiate us from other motor retailers. As a company people are crucial to us – be they our customers, our team members, our suppliers and our manufacturers. The way we treat and interact with them is crucial to our business.

Empowering team members

Each site operates a flat management structure with a definitive decision maker at each location, with the CEO just a walk down the corridor or a mobile phone call away. (He never switches it off and is available on e-mail or mobile 24 hours a day 7 days a week). All staff are encouraged to own the issues and to provide bright ideas to allow us to advance forward every day.

Working Smart

The Group operates a bespoke system and process that was written by our own management team and implemented by a dedicated training team. Everyone works to improve the processes consistently by ensuring it starts customer focus and delivers what they want, when they need it. It remains a family business with a definite proactive and forward thinking team.

Indeed because of the ever-changing world in which we live, the pace of life and indeed motoring fashion, Gordon Lamb recognises the need to constantly improve and change to reflect the market.
